Summary of the Research Project:

I am interested in using parasite genomic data to inform malaria elimination and control efforts. My research compares the population structure and migration patterns of P. falciparum and P. vivax in Southeast Asia to uncover unique and shared transmission dynamics between the species and aid the design of targeted intervention strategies.
