In October 2022, The Siena School in Silver Spring, MD recognized Dr. Harris with a Key Supporter Award for his work consulting with the school to develop new COVID protocols and a reopening plan:
"Dr. Harris went above and beyond with his support. Emails were answered at 6am, 3pm, 9pm, 10pm, even 11pm at night! Dr. Harris was not only responsive to our questions, but also independently shared resources and emailed to check in on our community. In addition to written communication, there were phone and Zoom calls, even one on a Sunday afternoon if I recall correctly! In late 2020, Dr. Harris met with faculty/staff to answer their questions and also attended the December Town Hall so that he could answer questions from the wider Siena community. It’s hard to imagine how he was able to provide such a level of support given all his responsibilities."
