Description

The VA Maryland Health Care System Research Service has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the UM School of Medicine for a Joint Program in Epidemiology and Public Health. A critical part of this MOU is the integration of members of the Perry Point Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center (PPCSPCC) into the faculty of the EPH, providing teaching in courses, on-site training for Epidemiology trainees and collaboration in research projects.

The PPCSPCC is one of four statistical coordinating centers that has been established by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Cooperative Studies Program to coordinate and conduct multi-center clinical research in the VA. The PPCSPCC is housed in Research Building 4 and two modular buildings on the grounds of Perry Point VA Medical Center. The main phone number for contact is: 410-642-2411. More information can be found at the Perry Point Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center website.
