Academic Activities and Responsibilities

I grew up not too far from Baltimore in Rockville, Maryland so have grown up to appreciate some of the great things that Maryland has to offer (including but not limited to "crabcakes and football"). For undergrad, I attended Roanoke College in southwest Virginia where I majored in biochemistry and played four years of varsity basketball while there.

For medical school, I came up to Baltimore to the University of Maryland and have the exciting opportunity to stick around for a few more years during residency. For my free time, sports still remains the focus: whether its playing pick-up or intramural basketball, going to Ravens and Orioles games in person, or simply watching games on TV.

Baltimore is an awesome city with tons of things to do, nice people, and great food. Any questions about the program or the city, please don't hesitate to contact me!
