Academic Activities and Responsibilities

I am a true Marylander for life. I am a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park where I studies Biochemistry. After college I spent three years performing research in targeted therapeutics for cancer. Then I decided to go back to school and entered University of Maryland, School of Medicine. I choose to go into Emergency Medicine because I enjoyed every specialty of medicine I experienced. I felt that in Emergency Medicine there was no part of my education that I would have to leave behind. So far my intern year has been educational and exciting. I am very grateful to be part of such a wonderful program!
