I'm originally from NY, worked in finance for over 4 years before switching to medicine. Like Nikki, I did post-baccalaureate program at Columbia University and did my medical school at University of Pittsburgh. Although it was hard to leave Pittsburgh, I am incredibly happy to have matched at UMD and for the opportunity to train with well-known experts in the field of EM. The education you receive at UMD and the variety of patients you see in Baltimore make this program a great place to train at.
