Academic Activities and Responsibilities
While pursuing a degree in chemical engineering at the University of Virginia, J.V. found his interest in medicine as an EMT and paramedic. Little did he know when he joined an EMS agency in Charlottesville, VA that he would find a new career, and his future wife!
J.V. is incredibly excited to be working at the University of Maryland, where the faculty are excellent teachers, the patients are incredible mix, and the city is an exciting and vibrant town.
While not working, J.V. enjoys playing in the piano, running, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys exploring his new exciting home of Baltimore.
