Academic Activities and Responsibilities

Hi, I'm one of the EM categorical residents. I grew up in western NY in the fingerlakes region (sort of the middle of nowhere - very pretty but not much going on). Did college at Notre Dame and then medical school at Downstate in Brooklyn (and that is Brooklyn NY NOT Brooklyn MD as some have assumed). I chose University of Maryland because I wanted a solid three year program with a great reputation that would leave me feeling prepared at the end of it. So far I've been happy with my choice. Baltimore as a city has pleasantly surprised me as well. Contact me if you have any questions. I'm also happy to host interviewees if you need to be put up for the night.
