Academic Activities and Responsibilities

Hello! I was born and raised outside Chicago, and happened upon Maryland after stints at U Penn for undergrad and U Illinois for med school. I am now a part of the 6 year emergency medicine/internal medicine/critical care medicine track, which Dr Winters developed for us here, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to become triple-boarded.

I have taken a job as a full time intensivist with The Intensivist Group, operating largely at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois, about 10 miles NW of Chicago. I plan to work a few shifts per month in another emergency department in addition to this appointment.

I have been very impressed with this training program, and am happy to discuss the merits of triple boarding with anyone willing to listen.
