Academic Activities and Responsibilities

Hey! My name is David, but I go by Gordo. I was born in the Baltimore area, but moved to the Chicagoland area when I was 7. Ever since I've alternated between the two cities. I'm an undergraduate Terp. I followed that up with a stint at Georgetown in the Special Masters Program, before participating in AmeriCorps in Miami for a year. Then I went back to the University of Illinois for Medical School where I discovered my passion for Emergency Medicine while working with an old farm doc who taught me about milking Stensen's duct. I rotated at Maryland recognized the passion and commitment they have not just to educating their residents, but creating future educators in emergency medicine. Luckily...I ended up here and couldn't be any more excited to get started. Please let me know if you have any questions.
