Academic Activities and Responsibilities
Sarah was born and raised right outside Baltimore in Howard County, MD. Her academic journey took her to Pennsylvania for her undergraduate degree at Messiah College, and she graduated with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Immediately after college she decided to come back home to Maryland and was accepted into the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After medical school, she was offered a residency position at the University of Maryland for Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics. Maryland has always been Sarah's home as her entire family is spread throughout the state and she loves steamed crabs! Outside of work, Sarah enjoys kayaking, cycling, and Raven's football!
