Innovator in Diagnosis Award

Beginning in 2023, the Center will be selecting an individual who has significantly changed the understanding of diagnosis in clinical medicine in a way that improves patient care.

The award will be presented in person at the University of Maryland SOM as part of a visiting professorship involving a two-day visit with a lecture on diagnosis and meeting faculty and trainees. The award includes travel, a plaque and an honorarium.
