Department of Anesthesiology Hosts 4th Annual Research Retreat

The Department of Anesthesiology held its 4th Annual Research Retreat on May 16, 2025, bringing together faculty, fellows, and students to share the latest scientific discoveries and foster collaboration. The event featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Sinisa Hrvatin from MIT on “The Biology of Mammalian Torpor and Hibernation,” which sparked lively discussion among attendees.

With 26 abstracts submitted, the retreat included a dynamic mix of oral and poster presentations covering a wide range of topics in basic and clinical anesthesiology research. Four outstanding abstracts—by Chanhee Park, Yongdae Yoon, Kamoltip Promnares, and Yijia Li—were recognized with awards, celebrating excellence and encouraging future participation. Congratulations to you all!
