APT Committee-Level Promotions Deadline: November 4, 2026 (for promotions effective July 1, 2027)
to Associate Professor, Professor, and/or awarding of Tenure, or moving to the tenure track at these ranks
- Beginning July 1, 2026, APT partners may submit faculty candidate CVs, by email, to OAA for pre-review. If you have multiple promotion candidates, send multiple CVs in one email.
- You will be notified when to send an electronic copy of the final CV in Word format. Be sure to keep track of the final version after any revisions so it will match the final CV in the packet.
- All academic degrees must be designated as awarded (see Dean’s memo regarding faculty degrees).
- All promotions at all ranks are effective July 1 of the upcoming fiscal year.
Deadlines for Promotions to Assistant Professor*
March 17, 2027, Full-Time Promotions
April 7, 2027, Part-Time or Volunteer Promotions
To be considered, packets must be sent to OAA via InterFolio by 5 p.m. on the due date. This is a firm deadline.
*Before beginning paperwork for promotion to Assistant Professor, contact OAA to ensure your faculty member has full mobility.
