Core Rotations

  • 3 to 4 months, Surgical Intensive Care Unit (University of Maryland Medical Center)
  • 1 month, Neurocriticial Care Unit (University of Maryland Medical Center)
  • 1 month, Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit, including ECMO basics training (University of Maryland Medical Center)
  • 1 month, Medical Intensive Care Unit (University of Maryland Medical Center)
  • 1 month Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE) training
  • 4 months elective rotations, including at least two intensive care unit elective rotation

  • Critical Care Resuscitation Unit (R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center)
  • Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit (R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center)
  • Multitrauma Critical Care Unit (R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center)
