Pre-submission Review to Strengthen Your Next Grant Submission
CARTI offers expert internal peer review to strengthen the quality, clarity, and impact of NIH grant submissions.
Format:
- Participants will submit a complete draft of their grant application and receive detailed review by two faculty who are funded and experienced reviewers with matching technical and/or scientific expertise.
- Participants will receive written critiques with “in document” comments & an NIH style summary of strengths and areas for improvement to revise their application prior to submission.
Eligibility:
- Must be full time faculty member in University of Maryland School of Medicine
- Must have complete draft of your grant application prepared at least 7 weeks prior to the grant deadline, including:
- Funding Opportunity Announcement information
- Specific Aims
- Research Strategy
- Biosketches of all key personnel
- Budget justification
- Training plan & letters of support (for career development awards only)
