Summary of the Research Project:

I study the impact of climate change on infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa. Specifically, I am exploring how global climate change impacts malaria risk in Malawi, Mozambique, and Zambia in the near to long term future to identify areas at high risk. Additionally, I am exploring how interventions and socio-demographic factors modify these impacts to prioritize meaningful interventions in vulnerable areas. Ultimately, this work should help local ministries of health allocate resources for malaria interventions in the regions most impacted by climate change driven malaria risk in the near to long term future.
