Biosketch

Stacie Mendoza, BS, is the Program Director for the Center for Advanced Research Training & Innovation (CARTI). She provides research career development and research training support at the University of Maryland School of Medicine by managing and organizing classes and seminars in subjects that are crucial to an academic research career, including grant writing, publishing research, scientific leadership and professional development. She provides a funding consultation service to assist faculty and postdoctoral fellows in identifying funding sources for their research projects. In addition, she directs a Scholarly Writing Accountability Group (SWAG) program designed to increase scientific manuscript writing productivity among faculty.
