Musculoskeletal Adaptive Platform Trial (MAPT)

The Musculoskeletal Adaptive Platform Trial (MAPT) is an NIH-funded initiative that creates a robust research framework for sequentially and synchronously comparing interventions to improve outcomes for adult patients with musculoskeletal conditions affecting physical mobility, enabling efficient multi-site data collection, standardized protocols, and adaptive trial design across participating institutions.

The MAPT webinar covers adaptive platform trial methodology and design features including hierarchical composite outcomes, win ratio analysis, Bayesian stopping rules, and adaptive sample sizes, along with practical guidance on joining the Core MAPT, using the MAPT protocol, and establishing local MAPT infrastructure.
