Academic Productivity

 

The Department of Radiation Oncology encourages active faculty participation in presenting at national scientific meetings, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, engaging in outreach, and pursuing other academic activities.

Faculty Productivity Committees

The Department of Radiation Oncology Executive Academic Advisory Council (EAAC) advises the department chair on issues in areas surrounding research, academics, education; and also identifies strategies to enhance the department’s performance and standing in research, academics, education, and technology innovation.

The Committee on Appointments, Promotion, and Tenure (APT) works with the department chair and the UM SOM Office of Academic Administration to support faculty appointments, promotion, and tenure; and also directly assists faculty in planning their future advancement.
