Studying Independence for Older Adults
The University of Maryland Older Americans Independence Center (UM-OAIC) is funded by the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The UM-OAIC is studying new ways to maintain or restore independence for older adults. The faculty and staff of the UM-OAIC are committed to community-based education and outreach.
