How To Obtain Support
- Did you reboot to try and solve your problem?
- To change/manage your SOM/Medicine login password, please visit SOM Password Management
- For suspicious email forward the mail as an attachment to email@example.com for analysis and further instructions.
- Visit SysAid (available worldwide) to search for solutions in the FAQ or submit an incident for techincal problems or issues. Login with your SOM username and password, and choose som.umaryland.edu for the Domain.
- To request additional access or changes such as a new computer or laptop visit SysAid and submit a request. All hardware purchases are subject to administrator approval.
- E-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with as many details as possible, including the best way/time to get in touch with you. This method may delay support, using the portal is the recommended method for requesting support.
- Monday through Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.
- After hours/Weekend support is not guaranteed and provided as available.
- Phone and direct e-mail/Teams support is not available.
