Ruth received a MS from the University of Maryland, Baltimore in Health Services Leadership and Management, as well as a MS in Palliative Care.  Her BSN is from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland.  She worked as a Nurse and Nurse Manager in Women’s and Children’s Health, Surgery, and Medicine, all within the University of Maryland Medical Center.  She has been a nurse for over 30 years.

Ruth works on the interdisciplinary Palliative Care team to provide psycho-social and emotional support to patients and families throughout their hospital stay, as well as clinical education and support for nursing staff and patient families.  Her goal is to ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care for all patients and families.
