The UMB Summer Bioscience Internship Program (SBIP) partners with the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Employment Development and the Maryland Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Family and Community Medicine.
The program provides Baltimore City High School students, interested in health career and biomedical research, laboratory research and clinical experience on the UMB campus, the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, and nursing units.
The 2017 program ran from June 26th through July 28th.
