This track aims to enhance uptake of evidence-based interventions that help to overcome health disparities related to HIV and other diseases among adolescents (ages 15 to 24) by providing a platform for cross-fertilization and exchange of ideas and to enable research to be bettered informed by programmatic challenges and questions.
Examples of science to be supported, but not limited to:
- Determining social, cultural, and economic factors and their interplay that can influence adolescents’ sexual and reproductive behaviors.
- Identify effective sexual and reproductive health interventions and related information, education, and support services while assessing acceptability to adolescents and young women.
Examples of catalytic activities to be provided, but not limited to:
- Support the integral involvement of adolescents and young women in research that identifies their own needs and identifies creative solutions, using methods such as Human-Centered Design.

Ms. Bolton Moore brings expertise in both behavioral and HIV research with adolescents and young women. She is leading studies to develop an integrated package; including sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and HIV treatment; to be delivered using social support and networking.
