What the UMB BioBank Provides
The UMB BioBank helps investigators efficiently incorporate biospecimens into their research. As a centralized institutional resource, we provide the infrastructure and expertise needed to support study planning, sample handling, and long‑term storage, while ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.
Investigators can:

✓ Use standardized laboratory processing workflows to support reproducible research
✓ Consult with biobank experts on feasibility, operational planning, and biospecimen management
✓ Request access to existing human biospecimens to support their research
