The Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry offers a full spectrum of outpatient services, which includes a child day hospital, outpatient clinic, and a variety of University- and school-based child and adolescent programs.

Center for Infant Study

The Center for Infant Study (CIS) provides multidisciplinary care in an outpatient setting for children ages 0-5 with emotional and behavioral concerns.

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic

Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Services at 701 W. Pratt Street

The clinic serves children and adolescents (ages 5-17) with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and/or learning problems. The clinic offers a range of services, including evaluations, psychological assessments, consultations, and brief or long-term therapy.

School Mental Health Program, Baltimore City

University of Maryland School Mental Health Program, Baltimore City

The School Mental Health Program (SMHP) team serves 25 schools in Baltimore City and is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for students and families. The program provides a range of culturally sensitive and effective prevention and therapeutic services that promote wellness and academic success.

Howard County School Mental Health Program (HCSMHP)

University of Maryland-Howard County School Mental Health Program (HCSMHP) 

The Howard County School Mental Health Program (HCSMHP) provides evidence-based mental health interventions to students, and works closely with families and school staff to remove barriers to learning.

PG School Mental Health Initiative (PGSMHI)

University of Maryland-Prince George’s School Mental Health Initiative

The goal of the University of Maryland-Prince George’s School Mental Health Initiative (PGSMHI) is to provide an integrated model of mental health services in the least restrictive setting to students with emotional/behavioral disorders in Prince George’s County Public Schools.
