The CBT supports career development by offering the following CDPA pilot awards:
Center for Biomolecular Therapeutics Career Development Pilot Award
- Open to researchers at any stage of their career seeking an opportunity in therapeutic development.
- $5,000-$10,000 in credit hours for CBT-based technologies and training.

DDVPA Sub-Category 1: Career Development in Target Discovery and Validation Pilot
- $10,000 funding and CBT technology training for cancer-related targets.
- In partnership with UM Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center.
