On October 30th, the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology, and Drug Development celebrated the retirement of Dr. Andrea Meredith after more than 18 years as a faculty member in the department. Dr. Meredith is set to assume the position of Director of Extramural Activities at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) on November 2. She will be responsible for guiding the NINDS Extramural Program, the Advisory Council, and intra-NINDS and trans-NIH initiatives and programs.
