Administration & Finance
The Administration and Finance team within the Office of Finance and Resource Management of the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) serves as an advisory group and liaison between the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB), University of Maryland Faculty Practices, Inc. (UMFPI), and the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC).
The team provides direct operational support to departments within the Dean’s Office. This support includes payroll processing, procurement, invoice payment processing, check depositing, and reporting.
The team also provides financial and administrative leadership in support of the University’s academic, research, and clinical missions. Specifically, the team provides advice and direction on budgets, policies, payroll, and financial reporting to every department within the UMSOM.
