Current Studies

Focus Group on Reasons for Leaving Early Intervention Services

Consultation on Disengagement Experiences

  • One-time virtual Focus Group
  • Persons who started Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) and left without completing it for any reason
  • Persons who had periods of leaving and returning during their time in CSC
  • Family Members of individuals who left CSC and did/did not support this decision, OR whose loved one experienced significant challenges after leaving
  • Age 18+
  • Compensation: $50 e-gift card

School, Work and Disability Benefits in Early Psychosis

  • Current or former CSC/early intervention in psychosis program participants, 15 years old and older
  • Three study visits for current CSC participants: study enrollment, CSC discharge & nine months after CSC discharge
  • Two study visits for former CSC Participants: study enrollment and a nine-month follow-up
  • Each visit is approximately 1 hour and will be conducted over Zoom, followed by a short, self-paced online survey
  • Two optional, in-depth interviews (one hour, over Zoom)

OR

  • Family members of individuals receiving CSC/specialized early psychosis services, 18 years old and older (family members may participate with or without their service user)
  • One in-depth interview (one hour, over Zoom)
