Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery

Our rhinology team provides expert care for conditions involving the nose, sinuses, and the anterior skullbase. We combine advanced medical therapies, minimally invasive procedures, and surgical approaches to tailor treatment for each patient.

Conditions We Treat

Sinus and Nasal Disorders


We care for the full spectrum of sinus conditions, including:

  • Recurrent acute and chronic sinusitis
  • Chronic rhinosinusitis with or without nasal polyps
  • Aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease
  • Allergic fungal sinusitis

Treatment options include personalized medical therapies, in-office procedures, and endoscopic sinus surgery when needed.

Nasal Obstruction and Breathing Issues


We evaluate and treat common causes of nasal blockage, such as:

  • Septal deviation
  • Inferior turbinate hypertrophy

Rhinitis and Allergy


For patients with allergic or chronic rhinitis, we offer in-office treatments and collaborate closely with our allergy specialists. Testing and treatment for environmental allergies are also available through our allergy program.

Skull Base and Complex Disorders


Working with our skull base surgery colleagues, we manage challenging conditions such as:

  • Pituitary tumors
  • Meningiomas
  • Craniopharyngiomas
  • Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibromas (JNAs)
  • Chordomas
  • Cholesterol granulomas
  • CSF leaks and encephaloceles

Eye-Related Disorders


We provide care for tear duct obstruction and thyroid eye disease in collaboration with ophthalmology.

Nasal and Sinus Tumors


Our team evaluates and treats both benign and malignant tumors, including:

  • Benign growths such as sinonasal papillomas, hamartomas, and solitary fibrous tumors
  • Malignant tumors such as squamous cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma, esthesioneuroblastoma, neuroendocrine carcinoma, sinonasal undifferentiated carcinoma, chondrosarcoma, sinonasal sarcoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma
