Laryngology and Airway Care

Our laryngology team provides comprehensive care for adults and children with voice, airway, and swallowing disorders. We combine advanced diagnostic tools, surgical expertise, and multidisciplinary collaboration to help patients regain function and quality of life.

Adult Airway, Voice, and Swallowing

Dr. Elizabeth Guardiani and Dr. Grace Snow care for patients with both benign and malignant airway disorders, including those requiring complex reconstruction. Their expertise also includes laryngeal and tracheal trauma, chronic cough, and neurologic voice disorders. They work closely with speech pathology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and thoracic surgery colleagues to provide coordinated care.

Pediatric Airway Care

Dr. Kevin Pereira and Dr. Amal Isaiah specialize in congenital and acquired pediatric airway disorders. They provide advanced surgical and medical management, as well as critical airway support for the neonatal and pediatric intensive care units at the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital.
