Policy Statement

Students must adhere to the UMMS Dress Code and Personal Appearance policy in all clinical settings or to the dress code of their assigned site. In classroom settings, less formal attire is permitted unless patients are present. Profane or offensive attire is never permitted.

Failure to comply will result in the inability to participate in educational activities and may result in the loss of credit for missed time and/or the issuance of a professionalism conduct evaluation.
