AAMC 2026 Transforming Conflict into Collaboration Virtual Workshop

Conflict in the workplace is common. It can impact all members of the academic medicine community, but it doesn’t have to result in a negative experience. How do you respond when differing ideas, perceptions, and priorities lead to conflict with others?

During this introductory virtual workshop on conflict management delivered in two parts, you will explore how to transform conflict into opportunities for collaboration and problem-solving. Through self-assessment, experiential exercises, and discussions with your peers, you will discover practical strategies for making difficult conversations more productive and for creating a respectful environment in which to resolve conflict.

Upcoming Virtual Workshops: August 18 & 20, 2026 and October 6 & 8, 2026
