Search
- syndrome of hematuria at the END of urination
- evidenced by spotting of blood in underwear
- occurs only in boys
- may last up to a year or longer
- symptoms are usually intermittent and recurrent
- physical examination is normal
- renal ultrasound usually helps rule out structural anomalies, but will usually be normal
- self-limited, with no specific therapy other than reassurance
