Davis Research Lab

The Davis research laboratory at the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland, performs research in the area of Diabetes.

Stephen N. Davis, MBBS, is principal investigator of the lab. A leading diabetes researcher and clinician, Dr. Davis is the Theodore E. Woodward Professor of Medicine and Chairman, Department of Medicine in the University of Maryland School of Medicine and Physician-in-Chief at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

The Davis laboratory performs human research protocols approved by University of Maryland’s Office of Human Research Protections Office. Research is sponsored by federally funded grants, industry, and private foundations.
