Typical Training Activities to Expect as a Training Grant Trainee

Although each training grant program is unique, many require trainees to participate in a journal club for that research area, take specific elective courses, attend a topical seminar series and/or a retreat, and present their research at training program research symposia.

Home to the National Institutes of Health, the Food and Drug Administration and other federal offices, the headquarters of scientific societies and non-profits, and a number of biomedical industries, there is a diversity of career paths open to our alumni in this area.
