Please register by Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Platform Party and Faculty Members do not need to pick up a ticket in advance.
Regalia
Regalia is required for everyone participating in the ceremony.
- Rental Orders: Faculty and Platform Party members can rent regalia here. The order deadline is April 1, 2026. Pricing can be found on the regalia ordering website. Rental regalia is not eligible for a refund once the order ships.
Please disregard the reference to a May 12 event on the regalia ordering website. Our ceremony will be held on May 14.
- Order Pick-up: The regalia will be shipped to the UMB bookstore at the SMC Campus Center and will need to be picked up from there. Orders will be available for pickup at the bookstore beginning May 6. Bookstore hours are Monday-Thursday 10-4 and Friday 10-2.
- Custom Regalia: Custom orders require 8 to 12 weeks for production. For pricing and details, email sm639@bncollege.com.
- Returning Rental Regalia: After the ceremony, regalia must be returned to the UMB bookstore at the SMC Campus Center by June 15, 2026.
Arrival Details
Platform Party and Faculty Members should arrive via the Hippodrome’s Stage Door at 412 W. Baltimore St.
Platform Party Arrival Time: 11:45 am – 12:00 pm
Faculty Arrival Time: 12:15 pm – 12:30 pm (this arrival time applies to those not on the Platform Party)
Parking
Parking will be available at the Baltimore Grand Garage (5 N. Paca St.), next to the Hippodrome. Carpooling is encouraged. This is a UMB Garage. Hourly parking rates will apply. This garage takes credit/debit cards only. If you have a parking pass at another garage, it will not work at this garage for Graduation. Please note that there is no direct elevator access from the garage to the venue. It is suggested that those with mobility challenges are dropped off with a companion at the venue entrance.
UMB Campus Graduation Celebration
UMB will not be hosting a university wide commencement event this year. UMB President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, or Provost and Executive Vice President Roger J. Ward, EdD, JD, MSL, MPA, will confer degrees at our UMSOM MD Graduation Ceremony, where graduates will walk the stage to mark the start of their next chapter.
