The University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is pleased to present the second annual Alavi-Bradley Symposium on Molecular Imaging and Theranostics on September 19, 2023.
This symposium is made possible by a generous donation from Dr. Abass Alavi and his wife, Dr. Jane Alavi. The goal of the symposium is to bring together physicians, scientists, and students interested in advancing molecular imaging and developing theranostic agents and applications for image-guided therapy. The symposium will offer a series of lectures on a wide range of topics on molecular imaging and theranostics. This year's speakers will include Drs. Martin Pomper, Abass Alavi, Edward Herskovits, and Bruce Wasserman.
In particular, junior-level participants are encouraged to submit abstracts with an opportunity to compete for awards; a call for abstracts will be issued soon. Last but not least, the symposium will provide ample opportunities for formal and informal discussions and networking with experts in molecular imaging.
CME credit will be offered.
Abstract/Poster Submissions
A CALL FOR ABSTRACTS WILL BE ISSUED SOON.
Poster presentations will provide the opportunity for attendees to showcase their research and network with meeting attendees. We encourage attendees to submit abstracts for poster presentations. Attendees may elect to opt-in to have their abstracts scored. Those that receive the best scores will be invited to give an oral presentation at the symposium. Awards will be given for outstanding abstracts.
