Student Diversity Council

The Student Diversity Council (SDC) is a collaborative group that includes leadership from multiple student interest groups at the School of Medicine (SOM), including SNMA, LMSA, APAMSA, Women in Medicine, LGBTQ+ Health, SAMSA, and the Muslim Student Association. The SDC works closely with SOM faculty to organize school-wide events including social gatherings and town halls that are open to all medical students at Maryland.

Our Campus

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is Maryland’s only public health, law, and human services university and the campus is comprised only of graduate students. Six professional schools and a Graduate School confer the majority of health care, human services, and law professional degrees in Maryland each year. The professional schools on campus include the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy, School of Dentistry, School of Social Work, and School of Law.
