About Us
Infectious disease experts from the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Epidemiology offer consulting services surrounding the preparation, safe reopening, and management of COVID-19 and other widespread infections to companies, agencies, independent and franchise businesses of any kind in the region.
University of Maryland is one of 11 Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Centers of Excellence in infection control, recently awarded by the CDC for COVID-19 research. Our team consists of eight faculty physicians who are board-certified in infectious diseases and infection prevention. As part of an academic medical center, our specialists conduct groundbreaking research and innovative clinical trials in addition to providing patient care. Our infection control nurses and epidemiologists, known worldwide for their expertise, are also integral members of our team.
Our Services

- A one-time assessment with plan, or continued service contracts for issues related to opening and staying open during changes in social distancing practices.

- How to best prevent employees, customers, and patients from becoming infected.
- Demonstrations on proper PPE usage and hand hygiene.
- Development of new COVID-19 policies and procedures specific to your operations.
