UMMC’s Career Academy connects Baltimore residents to free job training and employment opportunities through a network of over 40 schools and community partners. The program offers career preparation, professional development, and support services, helping participants build skills and access hiring events that lead to meaningful employment.


UMMC Youthworks internship program

UMMC’s Summer Internship Program is a workforce development initiative designed to empower Baltimore City youth (ages 16–21) with career readiness and community engagement skills. Through a structured 4-week hybrid experience, participants complete at least 125 hours of service while exploring diverse career paths in healthcare and related fields. The program includes a Career Exploration Series, Leadership Development Training, and a Team Service Project with each component fostering professional growth, civic responsibility, and exposure to real-world work environments
