Health Care Access/Care Coordination

The University of Maryland School of Medicine offers a range of services and resources for its neighbors.

engAGE with Heart

We are proud to collaborate with engAGE with Heart, a Baltimore-based nonprofit dedicated to promoting cardiovascular health through partnerships with families, faith-based organizations, senior centers, and other community stakeholders. As part of this initiative, our faculty members serve as community health ambassadors, delivering health education, administering immunizations, and conducting screenings to improve access to care. They also help coordinate follow-up services with primary care providers when needed. By actively participating in church gatherings and local health fairs, our team builds meaningful relationships and strengthens ties with the communities we serve.
