Pre-Doctoral Positions

NIH-funded pre-doctoral positions are available for US citizens and permanent residents through the Cardiac and Vascular Cell Biology Training grant.

This program provides interdisciplinary training in cardiac and vascular cell biology, and emphasizes the functional properties of cardiac and vascular smooth muscle. The training opportunities are broad and include: molecular determinants of myocyte function, cell signaling, cytoskeletal functions, extracellular matrix, biophysical modeling, endothelial functions, biomechanics of tissues and organs.

How to Apply:

Predoctoral trainees should have a solid background in biology, chemistry and/or physics, excellent GRE scores, research experience and strong letters of recommendation.
