The Office of Research Affairs is the hub for information and resources for every stage of the research life cycle.
Our Services
Pre-award
Review and manage the pre-award process
Grant Application & Logistics
Streamline the grant application process, help facilitate letters of support, and assist with limited grant submissions
Multi-project Grant
Provide additional resources including proofreading and assembling proposals to support the compilation and submission of large or complex multi-project grant applications. All requests for assistance must be made at least two months prior to the deadline
Compliance
Offer investigators insight and direction on the regulatory compliance process
New Funding
Identify and notify investigators and administrators about funding opportunities
Collaborations
Identify and establish new, interdisciplinary research collaborations
Cohesive Connection
Act as the linchpin to interface between departmental research administrators and UMB compliance and grants staff
Guidance & Support
Provide strategic insight and the current understanding of funder-related updates
