About the Course

This course offers the opportunity to earn up to 4 CME credits (pending).

The Radiation Oncology Symposium- Best of is a CME accredited course (pending) that will provide the attendees with the new changes in technology and treatment modalities that have occurred in the past year. This includes the latest developments in treating the following cancers: genitourinary, head & neck, central nervous system/pediatrics, gynecologic, gastrointestinal, breast, thoracic/SBRT and lymphoma.

In addition to the 4 CME credits, the event offers both SA-CME credits and MDCB credits (pending).


Registration

  • Registration Fee: $225.00* (Early Bird Registration: $175.00 through December 6, 2019)

  • On-site Registration Fee: $250.00 (cash/ check only)

Target Audience

The Radiation Oncology Symposium- Best of 2019 is designed for radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical oncologists, hematologists, nurse practitioners, medical physicists, dosimetrists, physician assistants and nurses.


Learning Objectives 

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe current treatment options for various malignancies.
  • Assess important studies and clinical trials in radiation oncology.
  • Review the role and indications for radiation therapy.
