Inpatient Services

Dr. Stephanie Knight, Chief of Psychiatry at Midtown, partakes in the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the new 24,000 square-foot adult inpatient behavioral health unit.

Our diverse team of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and occupational and recreational therapists provide world-class care to those with complex mental health needs.

In 2019, we unveiled our newly constructed inpatient unit, which is a state-of-the-art, $9 million project that was designed for single person occupancy with private rooms. Our safe spaces are created to promote comfort, healing, and privacy for our patients. We provide personalized, collaborative care to patients with serious and recurring mental health disorders that may include:

  • Paranoia
  • Substance use issues and related psychotic events
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Schizophrenia
  • Risk of suicide

Additionally, our team approach to care includes:

  • Medication management
  • Personalized treatment plans
  • Various levels of therapy and settings (group, individual, occupational, recreational, family, and skill-building activities)
  • Substance use treatment services
