Education and Training
Dr. Willard attended medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She went on to complete her Internal Medicine residency and GI Fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Baltimore VA Medical Center.
Dr. Willard was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. She attended undergraduate school at Stevenson University, in Baltimore County, Maryland, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. While in college, she did a lot of volunteer work in Johns Hopkins Hospital Emergency Room. This experience solidified her love of medicine. She attended University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree. She then went on to do her Internal Medicine and GI training at University of Maryland Medical Center and the Baltimore VA Medical Center. After she completed fellowship, she joined a private practice group for many years, but returned to the University of Maryland Medical Center and the Baltimore VA Medical Center in 2014. She spends the majority of her time at the Baltimore VA Medical Center providing quality GI care to Maryland veterans.
