  • 1997-1998:  A.D.A.M. Partnership in Education Grant, Awarded A.D.A.M. InterActive Physiology Software for use by Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II students, A.D.A.M. Software
  • 1998-2000: MSE Division Grant, Authored learner-centered behavioral objectives and implemented the use of comprehensive multimedia learning technologies to improve student learning outcomes in Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II courses, Community College of Baltimore County

  • January 2000: Community College of Baltimore County Foundation Grant, Provided stipends for two faculty (Diana LaPasha and Barbara Demchick) and four Occupational Therapy Assistant students. Faculty provided cadaver dissection and anatomy instruction of the upper body and clinical correlatives at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine, Division of Anatomical Service

Community Service

  • March 1995: "Careers in Biology" presentation to high school students at Catonsville High School
  • 1995-1996: Attended planning meetings, recruited faculty, wrote curricula, and coordinated biology programs for the Summer Science Camp for Baltimore County middle school girls held 6/14-28/1996, Community College of Baltimore County
  • June 1996: Interviewed by The Catonsville Times for an article on current and future educational opportunities for young women in science
  • May 1997: Coordinated and presented cardiovascular system and respiratory system anatomy and physiology demonstration at Health Fair, Community College of Baltimore County
  • August 1997: Represented MSE Division at College Information Session for new students, Community College of Baltimore County
  • 1998-2000: Volunteer on Maryland ASM list to make presentations on human anatomy and physiology topics and judge local science fairs.
